T minus 72 hours and counting - Interesting 2008
By Simon James | June 18, 2008
Preparation for Interesting 2008 continues here at My Noisy Matchbox with the duplication of 100 limited edition Interesting 2007 Radiophonic Collage CD’s. These will be available on the day on a first come first served basis.
Ken Hollings visited the studio on Monday for a run through of the Welcome to Mars reading which went well and gave me a chance to work out timings and cues. I also got a sneak preview of the Welcome to Mars book that is about to go off to the printers. It looks great and I’ll keep you posted on launch dates.
Find out more about the Interesting Conference and a whole lot more at Russell Davies’ ever informative blog.
By the way - the image for this post is Ky Michaelson, a.k.a., “Rocketman”. He builds rocket powered wheel chairs, blenders, snow mobiles, jet packs and sleds. Find out more here.

Hello
I greatly enjoyed the Welcome to Mars work, by the way - fantastic stuff. Apropos of nothing - did you know there’s a tribute to Daphne Oram at the south bank next friday?

I was really sad not to be able to pick up a copy of the CD. Do you have any plans to make an mp3 available? I’d love to have a listen.
